BROWS

  •  Q: How do I know which technique is right for me?

A: On the day of your appointment we will have an in-depth consultation before we start anything. We go over what technique, shape, color, etc. I pride myself on achieving an eyebrow that fits YOU and only you.

  • Q: What is Microblading?

A: Microblading is unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and is meant to look more natural compared to the older style permanent eyebrows. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type and skincare routine. The procedure is done by using a hand tool with ultra fine needles and each 'hair' is gently etched into the skin, giving an incredibly natural and realistic look. Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct eyebrows. It is excellent option for those wanting to enhance their existing brows, have little to no eyebrows, thinning brows or overly tweezed brows. Microblading is not meant to resemble makeup.

  • Q: What is the combination brow technique?

A: Combination brow technique is an enhanced version of microblading, that is meant to provide a bolder, more fully -filled brow with “hair strokes” underneath. Microblading is done first and followed by a pixel dusted affect created with a tattoo gun. This technique is my most popular brow service because it requires no makeup when healed and is a get up and ready to go look.

  • Q: What are Powder/Ombre brows

A: The powder/ombre brow technique truly looks like powder makeup when healed. A beautiful brow for someone who wears makeup on their brows daily and loves the filled in look. This technique is more for someone who has brow hair and a good existing brow shape. The difference between powder and ombre is, ombre is lighter in the front and darker throughout the body of the brow and powder is one solid soft look.

  • Q: Will it hurt?

A: I use a topical numbing cream so pain is very minimal.

  • Q: How long does it last?

A: It depends on your skin type and care however, the average time frame is 1-3 years. I offer a yearly touch up incentive also to keep those brows looking fresh!

  • Q: Is it a two step process?

A: Yes, I require all my clients to have a 6-8 week touch up to make sure they are the desired shape, fill them in more, and add a little more pigment to help it last a little longer. If a client chooses to forego their touch-up then their brows will fade after 6-9 months drastically.

  • Q: Am I a candidate?

A: Although I would love to give everyone beautiful brows, unfortunately not everyone is a candidate. If you have oily skin then you’re not a candidate for Microblading however, my Combination or Powder/Ombre technique is better suited for clients with oily/problematic skin. Head over to the services tab to see if you are a candidate. See other contraindications under the services tab.

  •  Q: How do I know which technique is good for me?

A: I will go over all options with you at your appointment and we evaluate which brow technique will fit YOU.

  • Q: I have had my brows done before can I come to you for a touch-up?

A: Unfortunately, I do not take anyone who has had their brows done by someone else. It is extremely hard to “fix” or correct someone else’s work. For the most part, many artists use different techniques, tools and most importantly pigments. This makes it really challenging to fix when no knowing what they did and what they used.

  • Q: Is a lash lift the same as a lash perm?

A: No, a Lash lift is a new and improved procedure, overcoming the ‘over curled’ look of a true perm.

  • Q: Will a lash lift damage my natural lashes?

A: A lift, if done correctly, will not damage the natural lashes.

  • Q: How do I care for my lashes after a lash lift?

A: Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours and do not use waterproof mascara.

  • Q: Can I still use my lash serum?

A: Absolutely, recommend it actually.

  • Q: How long will my lash lift last?

A: A lash lift lasts up to 8 weeks

  • Q: What is a Chemical Peel, what will it do for my skin, and how often do I need to get it one done?

A: Chemical Peel treatments help to clear dead skin and brighten skin tone by exfoliating and peeling off the top layer of skin. Chemical peels can improve the skin's appearance. The new skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Lastly, it is generally best to get a peel every 4 to 6 weeks unless you have sensitive skin in which it would be every 3 to 4 months.

  • Q: What is a HydroFacial?

A: A hydrofacial uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate skin while infusing highly-effective serums tailored to your specific skin needs. ... Suitable for all skin types, this rejuvenating treatment is gentle, non-invasive, and effective immediately.

  • Q: How often can I get HydroFacials?

A: I recommend getting one every 8 to 10 weeks for optimal results and overall good skin health.

  • Q: What is Dermaplaning?

A:  Dermaplaning, is an exfoliation method which consists of using a 10 gauge scalpel to gently remove the top layer of dulling, dead skin cells in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

  • Q: What are the results of Dermaplaning?

A: You’ll immediately look more radiant with a more even skin tone and texture. All of your peach fuzz will be gone, which is why first-timers say their skin has never felt so soft before. Your face will glow!

  • Q: If I want to do Dermaplaning before an event (Wedding, pictures, etc) when is the right time.

A: I recommend doing the treatment 8 days before the event. Dermaplaning is the best treatment possible to get that natural glow you're looking for,  for the big day or a special event.
